So far I do not see an increase in blog traffic due to publishing very frequently during the week.

I have about 1200 followers on twitter. So far none of the of the posts at this tumblr blog that was also send to twitter did increase blog traffic. Even though I used hashtags in the heading of my posts it did not make a difference.

Commenting on freshly publised blog posts did not increase blog traffic.

For this test I will use Google blog search with the search term: “increase blog traffic”.
I would like to find out if commenting on freshly published posts will increase blog traffic more than compared to commenting on older posts.

I read a lot about the promises of the commment luv plugin and the increase in blog traffic it would create. In my last post I listed 10 blogs with comment luvs plugin installed where I left a comment two days ago.

Results:
I saw an immediate uptake in traffic. At minimum it trippled compared to having commented on other blogs before. It could be even more as also some indirect traffic started to come in. With each comment there is a back-link left at the blog with comment luv plugin installed.

You can repeat this research and see for yourself the impact I have had. See my last post on how to identify blogs with the comment luv plugin installed in the niche you are blogging in.

One remark though:
But please this is not a suggestion or invitation to start spamming those blogs with this plugin. Please consider to make a relevant comment to a post, the same way as you would expect someone to comment on yours.

Supposedely commenting at blogs with the comment luv plugin installed will drive more blog traffic than commenting at blogs without it.

Indeed commenting on other blogs does increase blog traffic. Additonally I have gained one follower for this blog.

The search term “most viewed blog tumblr” has send one visitor to my blog.
